In the past 50-years we’ve watched too many products give up on quality.  Whether it’s packaging that is nearly impossible to open, to chicken parts which are full of gristle, to multi-thousand dollar televisions which are much too easily damaged while repairs are not supported by both the home company AND the extended warranty, it seems poor workmanship and lackluster customer support have become the norm in the United States today.
